Frequently asked questions

Do the rims fit my car?

Yes. When you enter your car's make, model and year in our car selector, you will see rims that fit your car. We also offer a 100% fit guarantee on all rims.

What does 100% passport guarantee mean?

This means that the rims we deliver are adapted to your car with the correct bolt circle, offset (ET), width and center bore. The rims should fit without the need for adjustments.

What does bolt pattern / bolt circle mean?

Bolt circle describes how many bolts the rim is attached with and the diameter of the circle they sit in. For example , 5x112 means the rim has 5 bolts and a bolt circle of 112 mm.

What does ET / press fit mean?

ET (inset) is the distance between the rim mounting surface and the center of the rim. This determines how far in or out the wheel sits in the wheel arch.

What does center bore mean?

Center bore is the diameter of the hole in the center of the rim that fits over the hub of the car.

Do I need center rings or other bolts?

Rims from Aventador Wheels are custom made for your car and therefore do not need center rings .

Rims from Concaver and Japan Racing come with a larger center bore and therefore need center rings to fit the car .

For these rims , non-original wheel bolts or nuts must also be used, as original bolts from the car normally do not fit.

Centering rings and correct bolts can be purchased from us together with the rims.

Can I use wider rims than the original?

Yes. Many people choose wider rims for a sportier look and better grip. Our recommended setups are carefully selected for the right fit.

Will I lose my new car warranty if I install other rims?

No. You normally do not lose your new car warranty by using rims other than the original, as long as the rims have the correct dimensions, load capacity and fit the car correctly.

We deliver rims that are adapted to the car's specifications, so that they work safely with the car.

Does the Porsche Approved warranty apply if I fit other rims?

In most cases, aftermarket rims do not affect the warranty as long as the rims are of the correct specification and do not cause damage to the car.

If you have a Porsche Approved warranty , we recommend that you check the terms and conditions with your Porsche dealer if you are unsure.

Do the rims have to be approved for the weight of the car?

Yes. All rims must have the correct load rating for the vehicle. This is especially important for electric vehicles which are often heavier.

The rims we deliver are adapted to the correct load for your car.

Do larger rims affect driving characteristics?

Larger rims can give a sportier look and better steering response. At the same time, comfort can become somewhat stiffer if you go up a size.

We always recommend layouts that work well both visually and technically.

Do I need to retighten the wheel bolts after installation?

Yes. We recommend that the wheel bolts are re-tightened after 50–100 km of driving to ensure that the rims are seated correctly.

This applies to both original and aftermarket rims.
